Advertising: Unity LevelPlay and mediated ad networks

Ads are delivered through Unity LevelPlay, which chooses an ad from several ad networks ("mediation"). The networks we use are Unity Ads and ironSource Ads, and, if enabled, Google AdMob. If we add a network we will list it here.

To show, cap and measure ads and to prevent fraud, these companies process: your device's advertising identifier (Google Advertising ID on Android, IDFA on iPhone when you allow tracking), IP address and approximate location derived from it, device and network information, the app you are using, and how you interact with ads.

The ad networks act as independent controllers for their own use of this data. Their policies:

Purchases: RevenueCat, Google Play and the App Store

When you buy something (for example Remove Ads or the Tide Pass), Google Play or the App Store handles the payment under its own terms. RevenueCat receives the purchase receipt, product, price, currency, date, a random app user ID and device information, so it can confirm the purchase, restore it later and tell the game what you own. We never receive your payment card details.

5. Your choices in the game

6. Legal bases (EEA/UK)

7. Children

Dye & Tide is a general-audience game and is not directed to children under 13 (or under the age of digital consent in your country, up to 16 in parts of the EEA). We do not knowingly collect personal information from children. If you believe a child has used the game and data was collected, contact us and we will delete it.

9. Your rights and how to delete your data

Depending on where you live (for example under the GDPR, UK GDPR or US state laws), you can ask to access, correct, delete or receive a copy of your personal data, object to or restrict its use, and withdraw consent. You can also complain to your local data protection authority.

To delete your data, email jonas.b3n@gmail.com with the subject "Data deletion" and include the Player ID shown in the game under Settings > Privacy (if you can't find it, tell us your device model and roughly when you installed the game). We will delete your cloud save, leaderboard entries and analytics data held by Unity, ask RevenueCat to delete your purchase profile, and confirm within 30 days. Uninstalling the game removes the data stored on your phone. Purchases themselves stay on record with Google or Apple.

10. International transfers

Our providers may process data in the United States and other countries. Where data leaves the EEA or UK, they use safeguards recognised by law, such as the European Commission's Standard Contractual Clauses or the EU-US Data Privacy Framework.

11. Security

All network traffic from the game is encrypted (HTTPS/TLS). Data is stored with our providers using their security measures. No method is perfectly secure, but we only keep what the game needs.

12. Changes to this policy

If we change this policy we will update the effective date above and, for important changes, tell you in the game.
